The Heavens Declare by Mark Keathley

Exclusive Event Release — Only 25

When I was a young artist (16 or 17 years old) I always took my latest creation to the person I knew would be the most excited about it. My Gramma (Annette Keathley) would put her hands over her face and say, “Oh the heavens declare the glory of God!” Her excitement about my art is probably what compelled me to do another painting the next day. Whenever I paint a glorious sunny sky I think of her and her desire to turn everything into a conversation about the sweetness and majesty of God. She left me a great legacy of faith and of art.

Joys of Summer by Abraham Hunter

I’ve been working on this one for awhile and I’m really excited to finally see how you all like it!! It has a Ruby-throat, Anna’s, Calliope, and Black-chinned hummingbird, and then I added one lovely lady hummingbird! I went to Kroger and bought a bunch of different flowers to combine for reference. I really tried to capture the buzzing, high energy of these dazzling birds and the life and color of summer! I hope you all like it!

This image is the second in the Joys of the Seasons Series. Tidings of Comfort and Joy was the first in the series and was near "sold out" status before the second in the series was released. Enjoy these beautiful songbirds in all four seasons when you collect the entire series.

Light of Hope by Abraham Hunter

I don’t think I’ve ever poured more of myself in to a challenging painting quite like this newest painting! It is a 36″x24″ oil painting titled “Light of Hope”. It is the east coast sequel to a piece I did two years ago called Light of Faith, and you all have no idea how excited I am to share it! I worked on it for weeks and weeks, and hundreds of hours!
When I started this piece, I wanted to paint a striking and bold painting that would inspire hope and life in the heart of everyone that saw it. The light of the Son rises bringing warmth and hope for the new day. Glimpses of comforting angels adorn the dazzling sky. The Spirit is like the lighthouse. It warns us of rocks, gives light during the storm, and guides us. We are invited to draw near and rest beside the beach, smell the aroma of the garden flowers, and find shelter in the beach house. By keeping the light shining brightly at our home, we are a light to others in the stormy seas of life. The sailors aboard the distant vessel have endured a long night on the high seas. As the sun breaks, they see the land and sail on in renewed hope of finding their way home. I kind of see myself as the sea gull on the gate to the left.. I am constantly observing, pondering, and quietly soaking in my surroundings, and as I see each day unfold, I strive to capture each tiny little drama I witness on canvas in my efforts to connect with each of you. But, I think all of us deep inside feel like we are the ship at sea. Life is full of waves and storms. Sometimes even the feeling of being home is nowhere inside of us, and the heaven’s light doesn’t shine when we want it. I just want this painting to inspire you to keep going. “I know the plans I have for you” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope, and a future”. I hope you share this painting with all of your friends to spread the glad tidings of hope and future with everyone you know!
Thank you for giving me the chance to share this painting with you!

Deer Crossing | Abraham Hunter

Deer Crossing by Abraham Hunter

Years ago I visited Cades Cove, Tennessee for the first time. I arrived very early before sunrise and was shocked at all of the wildlife that seemed to be fearless of my presence. I began snapping photos of a very large whitetail buck beside the road. He was so majestic in the dense fog. Right then, years ago, I gained the inspiration for this painting. I’m so excited that I now get to share it with you! The moon is rising on a crisp early October night during the peak of the whitetails mating season. A farmer slowly drives down a gravel road after the days work. The only sound is the classic oldies country station crackling over the radio as the gravel rumbles beneath the old trucks tires. He slows to stop, as this proud buck gracefully races across the road in front of the glow of his headlights. This is the same majestic buck I saw all those years ago. I saved him in my memory for when I could immortalize on canvas the feeling he gave me of being so close to one of God’s creatures. Everyone who has taken this gravel road in Cades Cove can pick out exactly where it is. I hope you feel as though you are driving down that road in that old truck every time you look at “Deer Crossing.”
